After the St. Patrick’s holiday celebrations have passed, what better way is there to recover than with an episode of DOTM?

I’m what now?
March 19th, 2013 on 9:14 pm
Evening, Mirthlings!
I was going to correct Johnny’s use of the word ‘erroneous’ from last week but it would have been ergonomic.
Looking back through my commentary beneath earlier episodes, I realise I used to be far more involved in the comment threads. See my comment under “A Talk of Noughty Tech” for an extreme example.
Back then, of course, I had a vexing occupation and resultant drive for creative output. As it stands, I’m quite happy with my return to life as a student and have hitherto had little excess energy to exert creatively.
Or so I thought. I think I’m back! Much like whatever force keeps the station aloft, I have an inexplicable drive to talk to you, presumably real people.
So if you’re listening, read the comments. And if you’re reading the comments, join in! The water’s lovely and I’ve lost by trunks.
I wonder who else is here? Is Mr. N. Cognito even still alive?
See ya in the threads?
Yes? Yes.
Good.

p.s. It seems pedanticism is, in actual factual fact, a word, and it means what it sounds like it means.
p.p.s. I don’t know how and I don’t know when, but Johnny will slip up sooner or later… and when he does, I’ll be there to be a pedantic prick about it.

\o/ I promote better than anyone!
For a second I thought you guys were just gonna play an entire episode of LoL as your podcast. I was ok with that. Our terrible sound quality just seems that much worse when compared to your functional sound.
And yeah, we jacked the theme from a Youtube remix of a Legend of Zelda theme. SHHHHH!
Anywho, peeps. ^_^ Good times as always gentlemen.
March 19th, 2013 on 10:40 pm
Our functional sound this week was clawed back from a bad record with completely messed up track sync and awful levels, that led to around 12 hours of editing work to produce a 51 minute show.
It almost isn’t worth it… Almost.
Thanks for the compliment Bob, but what news of Half Life 3?
March 19th, 2013 on 10:45 pm
Half Life 3 IS on our minds. It will be made. We assure you it’s something we have considered and approached. We do not want to rush it. We have nothing but the utmost respect for it and it’s fan base. It will happen!
Now just replace “Half Life 3” with half a dozen other games, and we’ll be all done with PR work for the year.
March 19th, 2013 on 10:59 pm
Thanks, Boss
March 19th, 2013 on 11:01 pm
Actually, that bit of boiler plate PR work would have been perfect for all of the time DOTM was off air.
I’ll keep it saved for possible future use.
March 19th, 2013 on 11:01 pm
Not that we’re going anywhere….
October 11th, 2017 on 12:38 pm
In the intervening years much has changed in the world, the most important of which, I’m sure you’ll all agree, is the fact that at some point I started typing my username in title case.
Hello, all.
*cue all the impatient listeners jumping at the chance to talk to Ben after a long hypersleep / disappearance / abduction / other (delete as appropriate)*
